Mush Overnight Oats
Ingredients:
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup yogurt
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
1/2 cup mixed fruit (such as berries, diced apples, or chopped nuts)
Instructions:
Combine the oats, milk, yogurt, honey (if using), and fruit in a compact jar or container with a cover.
Overnight in the refrigerator, cover the jar or container.
Stir the oats in the morning and, if necessary, add extra milk or yogurt to get the right consistency.
Enjoy the oats cool, or if you'd prefer them warm, reheat them briefly in the microwave.
Optional mix-ins:
Chia seeds
Peanut butter or other nut butter
Cocoa powder or chocolate chips
Diced dried fruit (such as apricots or dates)
